What does Classmade take from each sale?
Free costs $0. Classmade keeps 15% of each sale, and you can have up to 10 resources published at once. Pro is $29.99/mo or $299/yr. Classmade takes 0% of each sale, so you keep 100% of the price, and there is no limit on published resources. On both plans, Stripe's own processing fee (about 2.9% + 30 cents in most countries) applies on top. The Classmade fee comes off automatically, so you never send an invoice.
How many resources can I sell?
Free lets you publish up to 10 resources at once. Pro has no limit. Drafts never count, only your live published resources.
When do I actually get the money?
Stripe deposits your earnings straight to your bank on its regular payout schedule. The first deposit usually takes a few business days while Stripe verifies your account, then payouts settle on your account's normal cycle.
Do I need a bank account or Stripe account?
Yes. Classmade uses Stripe to deposit your earnings into your bank. Stripe asks for your bank details and some ID. Set aside about ten minutes. Stripe supports sellers in more than 40 countries.
Can I cancel if it is not for me?
Yes. Pro is billed monthly or annually with no contracts. Cancel any time from your billing settings and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
What if I want to offer a free resource?
Set the price to $0 and buyers just enter their email, with no card required. It is a good way to build trust and grow your audience, and it works before you connect Stripe.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes, custom domains are available on Pro. Your Free storefront stays at yourname.classmade.co for as long as you want it.
